Motionly Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 12, 2026

Effective: August 12, 2026

This Policy explains how DreamRender Limited ("Motionly," "we," "our," or "us") handles personal information when you use the Motionly mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Motionly provides AI-assisted tools for generating and editing images and videos, including photo animation, prompt-based generation, multi-reference creation, portraits, restoration, and enhancement.

This Policy applies only to Motionly and should be read together with our Terms of Service. An app store, sign-in provider, payment processor, advertising provider, or model provider may process information under its own privacy notice when it acts independently from us.

Important: Images, videos, prompts, and other files you submit may be sent to service providers that perform AI generation or editing for us. Do not submit another person's content unless you have the rights and permissions needed to do so.

We do not ask you to include sensitive information in a prompt. A photo or video may nevertheless reveal a face, location, health detail, or other sensitive fact. Please review a file before submitting it. Motionly accesses photos or the camera only when you choose media or capture an image for a feature; the permission prompt on your device controls that access.

2. Why We Use Information

We use the categories above only as reasonably needed to:

3. AI Inputs, Outputs, and Model Providers

To perform an AI feature, Motionly processes the prompt, uploaded or selected files, feature settings, and related technical identifiers. The exact input depends on the tool. For example, photo animation requires a source image, while multi-reference generation requires the references you select.

Some requests are processed by external AI-model or infrastructure providers. Motionly sends the content and settings needed for that request. We do not intentionally attach your account password or full payment-card details to a model request.

We select model and infrastructure providers to perform requested generation, editing, storage, delivery, security, and abuse-prevention functions. The providers available for a feature may change as models are tested, upgraded, or retired. We require providers acting for us to process submitted content only for the contracted service, security, and legal purposes, subject to their applicable retention and deletion commitments. A provider may screen prompts or media for security and abuse prevention.

We do not use an image merely containing a face to authenticate you or establish your identity unless a feature expressly says so and provides any disclosure and consent required by law. Motionly's creative features may transform facial appearance, but that does not by itself mean we create an identity-verification profile.

We do not claim ownership of your input. Motionly does not use, and does not authorize providers acting for us to use, submitted creative content or generated results to train or fine-tune generative AI models. We also do not use submitted creative content for unrelated advertising.

4. When Information Is Disclosed

We may disclose relevant information to:

We may also disclose information at your direction, such as when you choose to share a result. If the business is reorganized, financed, acquired, or sold, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.

We do not publish your private generation history merely because you created content. Content becomes available to other people only through a sharing or publication feature you choose, a disclosure you separately authorize, or a legally valid request.

5. Storage, Retention, and Security

We retain personal information for the shortest period reasonably needed for the purposes described above, taking account of account status, user settings, provider processing time, dispute and fraud risks, backup cycles, and legal recordkeeping duties. The following rules apply:

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including protected network transmission and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password, protect verification codes, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Your Controls and Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and subject to lawful exceptions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of personal information. You may withdraw consent where consent is the processing basis, and you may opt out of promotional email through its unsubscribe control. You may also complain to an applicable privacy regulator.

You can manage available profile details and generation history through the controls provided in the Service. To close an account, use the deletion option in account settings or contact support@dreamrender.net. We may verify a request to protect the account from unauthorized deletion.

Advertising choices. Motionly provides an in-product advertising privacy control where required or made available. You may use it to review or change available consent and advertising choices. You can also reset or delete the advertising identifier through your Android device settings. Depending on your location and the choices available to you, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Changing an advertising choice does not necessarily remove ads or rewarded-ad features, but it limits covered uses of identifiers and activity for advertising as required by law.

Account deletion removes the account and associated personal information that we are not legally required to keep. Any limited record retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes will be isolated from ordinary product use and deleted when the applicable reason ends. Deleting Motionly does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by an app store; store-managed subscriptions must be cancelled through that store.

Automated moderation. We use automated systems to screen requests and content for prohibited use, and those systems may block a request, remove content, or restrict an account before a person reviews it. Where a decision produces a legal or similarly significant effect on you and applicable law gives you the right, you may ask for human review, state your point of view, and contest the decision by writing to support@dreamrender.net.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If we deny all or part of a request, we will explain the reason when legally permitted and describe any available appeal process.

7. Regional Information

Hong Kong

DreamRender Limited is established in Hong Kong and handles personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). You may request access to, and correction of, the personal data we hold about you, and you may ask us at any time and without charge to stop using your personal data for direct marketing. Send requests to the contact details in Section 10. A data access request may be subject to the response period the Ordinance allows and, where permitted, a reasonable fee.

EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, DreamRender Limited is the controller for the processing described in this Policy. Depending on the activity, we process personal information because it is necessary to perform our contract with you, because we have a legitimate interest in securing, diagnosing, supporting, and improving the Service, because we must comply with a legal obligation, or because you have given consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.

Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of your personal information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, including relevant profiling, and you may ask for human review of a solely automated decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect. You may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority where you live or work. Submit a request using the contact information in Section 10.

United States

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of covered personal information and to appeal certain decisions. Where applicable, they may also opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. Motionly will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. The categories collected and disclosed for business purposes are described in Sections 1 and 4.

U.S. sale and targeted-advertising disclosure. Motionly does not exchange personal information for monetary payment. We use advertising, analytics, and attribution services to display rewarded ads, understand how the Service is installed and used, measure ads and campaigns, attribute purchases, and detect fraud. Depending on the enabled integration and your advertising choices, these services may receive identifiers, approximate location, device information, and app or ad activity described in Section 1. Certain U.S. state laws may treat some advertising, measurement, or attribution disclosures as a "sale," "sharing," or use for targeted advertising even when no money is paid for the information.

Where one of those state-law rights applies, you may ask us to stop covered disclosures by contacting support@dreamrender.net. You may also use privacy controls made available by your device or by Motionly. We will process a valid request as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for making it. A request may not prevent processing that the law permits for security, fraud prevention, service measurement outside the statutory definition, or another exempt purpose.

8. Children

Motionly is not directed to children under 13. If local law requires a higher minimum age for a person to consent to data processing or use the Service, that higher age applies. If you have reached the applicable minimum age but are still a minor where you live, you may use Motionly only with the authorization and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who should review this Policy with you. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child contrary to applicable law. A parent or legal guardian who believes a child supplied information improperly should contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.

Sexual content involving a minor is prohibited. We may preserve and report suspected child sexual abuse material as required by law.

9. International Processing

Motionly relies on service providers and infrastructure that may process or store information in countries other than the one where you live. Data-protection laws differ by country. Where a cross-border transfer is subject to legal restrictions, we assess the transfer and use the safeguards, contractual protections, consent, adequacy basis, or other lawful mechanism required for that transfer. We also apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information and the processing risk.

10. Changes and Contact Details

We may update this Policy when features, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice before a material change takes effect when required. If consent is required for a new use, we will request it rather than treating continued use as consent.
